Thornwrought

"The forest remembers what the hand has shaped."

Long before iron crowns and cathedral bells, the Thornwrought were carried by the keepers of the old forests.

Each piece was carved not from cut timber, but from fallen branches gathered after storms, river floods, or strange nights beneath pale moons. The wood was believed to retain memory — of root systems, animal paths, whispered rites, and the dreaming spirit of the forest itself.

●●●

Hand-carved from fallen branches of willow, oak, cedar, pear, and driftwood, these ritual hairsticks are shaped by hand and adorned with bone, leather, and weathered beads. Each carries its own crooked grain and spirit-markings, making no two alike.

Made in the style of old woodland talismans, they are equal parts adornment and relic — meant for braids, buns, ceremonial wear, altar dressing, or wandering in the deep places where the trees still whisper.

Its wood bears the natural twists and scars of the branch it came from, left intentionally untouched where possible so the spirit of the tree remains visible beneath the carving. Hung with bone and worn beads, it resembles something once carried by hedge witches, bone readers, and travelers of forgotten forest paths.

Some are long as the forearm, carved for thick hair and dramatic styling, while smaller pieces rest lightly like hidden charms woven through the hair.

Crafted from naturally gathered materials. Variations, knots, bends, and markings are part of their nature.
